Aftermath of Ike

The rescue and relief efforts going into Texas are just starting, many hours of volunteer and paid work must be put in to get the region back on its feet. Please pray for my friend and her grouop that leave NC today. Pray for them and all the other volunteers headed into that area that they would be able to show God's love in a safe enviroment. I recieved this email from her today:

We are leaving this area at noon today on a tour bus with 45-50 people.We will be serving our first meal tomorrow night at suppertime. We are goingto Baytown, TX 30 miles outside Houston. We will be helping serve 50,000yes, 50,000 meals a day.Pray much for us. We appreciate all of you. God bless, Jean
