Answer orSolution? Are we looking for a solution to our earthly problems or THE SOLUTION to life? Many of us have pressing problems that are real and ugly. The outlook is not good, financial obligations that we cant argue with but see no way to meet. Legal matters that have no solution that our human eye can see. Children who are outside the will of God, parents who are older and will not get younger. The box of our anxiety tightens from every side. But then the Son gives us a new perspective, Scripture assures us the Father never abandons us. Isaiah 41: 11-13 "Count on it: Everyone who had it in for you will end up out in the cold— real losers. Those who worked against you will end up empty-handed— nothing to show for their lives. When you go out looking for your old adversaries you won't find them—Not a trace of your old enemies, not even a memory. That's right. Because I, your God, have a firm grip on you and I'm not letting go.I'm telling you, 'Don't panic. I'm right here to help you.' Perspective is the key.
Wet Yet?Have you been to the creek? Have you asked God to wash away your sins because you believe His Blood washes away all your sin? How long ago was that ? Yesterday, today or was it years ago and you think it doesn't count now? God is not like me and you, He doesn't have "do overs". Never does he let you go from His hand once you are saved. Yes you can chose to move away, go into the desert of desire, greed, lust, sin what ever face satan puts on to entice you away- but this creek of God's love never dries up, turn around a jump in, feel His Spirit wash over you as His arms close around you. Too good to true, read up girlfriends ,argue with me, I am human, He if Divine.
Luke 12:4"I'm speaking to you as dear friends. Don't be bluffed into silence or insincerity by the threats of religious bullies. True, they can kill you, but then what can they do? There's nothing they can do to your soul, your core being. Save your fear for God, who holds your entire life—body and soul—in his hands.
Thirsty Enough? In th Bible, in John 4:5-42 you can read about "The Woman at the Well", a parable in the New Testament. Look it up at www. //biblegateway.com below are several verses we need to look at to determine, Are YOU Thirsty Enough? Are you at the end of yourself and all your plans to make a life that depends on you?
13Jesus answered, "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, 14but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."
15The woman said to him, "Sir, give me this water so that I won't get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water."
Many of you have tried many "wells" and yet here you are looking "so I won't get thirsty". When God invites you to His well He only wants you, just as you are this moment. You dont have to clean up to get a drink of this water, the Water( Jesus Christ) cleans you up when you ask.
